As the New Year comes around it can be easy to decide to start doing all the things. You may be thinking, I want to make big changes this year, so I'm going to start with eating better, working out every day, taking time to meditate, creating a healthy morning routine, and on and on and on.
And by January 17th you messed up somewhere along the way, feel guilty, and give up. Why???
We are creatures of habit, so to think you can change everything at once is so unrealistic and can be disappointing if you fail, but if you changed everything at once you are more than likely to fail.
So, instead of thinking about how you are going to be failing this year, I want to help you to focus on just one thing. Pick one thing you are going to work on this month, one thing you feel you can commit to, and practice it daily until it becomes a habit.
Better yet, take that one habit and start stacking it with something else you are already doing in your everyday life to help make it stick. Here are a few ideas for you to help get you started.
