I know you have heard this phrase that abs are made in the kitchen and although there is definitely truth to this statement; here I'm doing it a little tongue and cheek as I always am looking for ways to make my workouts a part of my every day life through habit stacking.
One thing I try to do and recommend to busy moms is to do a bit of ab work in the kitchen while cooking dinner. Put on a pair of socks, get down in a plank position, and have fun with various workouts that can be done in just about 5 minutes while you are waiting for something to boil, after putting a sheet pan in the oven, or even quick 1 minute spurts while cooking on the stovetop. It doesn't have to be perfect, the goal is to make it fun.
